Refund Policy

At Plated & Prepared, our goal is to ensure every customer is satisfied with their order. Because our meals are made fresh to order, we have specific guidelines for refunds, credits, and replacements.

1. Freshness Guarantee

We take great care to prepare, package, and deliver meals under safe and controlled conditions. If there’s an issue with your order (such as missing items, incorrect meals, or damage during delivery), please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds or replacements may be issued in the following cases:

  • The order arrived incorrect, damaged, or missing items.

  • You received meals that were not as described on the site.

  • Your order was canceled before preparation began.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Orders delivered correctly and on time.

  • Meals that were not stored properly after delivery (e.g., not refrigerated).

  • Customer preference changes after delivery (taste, portion size, etc.).

3. How Refunds Are Processed

If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
In some cases, we may offer a store credit or replacement meal instead of a refund.

4. Cancellations

Orders can be canceled up to 24 hours before your scheduled delivery day.
Once food preparation has started, we’re unable to process cancellations or refunds for that order.

5. Subscription Orders (if applicable)

If you’re part of a recurring meal plan, you may pause or cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date. Charges for meals already prepared or in production are non-refundable.
